The media was spread all over the police station trying to get some scoop over the blast that had taken place earlier. All they got was an investigation had been opened and the police are following major leads. Rawatji had already given out a statement with regards to the presence of Pratap and Ajabde

Mr Pratap Singh Sisodia and Miss Ajabde Punwar were at the station at time of the blast. Both of them had willingly come down to the station to speak about the death of one of their juniors.

The second floor west wing had been cordoned off for the regular people as both Ajabde and Pratap were moved into private rooms located on the floor. Uday Singh had spoken to the Commissioner asking him to get the man behind the attack because of who his son was in the hospital. Rawatji and his team were dealing with the media as they all wanted something to run in their evening news.

Rann Singh was not a happy person because the Commissioner was not a happy person. Both Uday Singh and Raghav Singhania had called him personally asking for the culprit to be caught as soon as possible. Now Rann Singh knew that Uday Singh’s son was there at time of the blast with Miss Punwar but why Singhania was so interested in the culprit. 

Raghav was infuriated with everyone especially Sammy as he had not given him the full information about the blasts. It was through the news channel he had seen Rawatji’s statements about Ajabde’s presence at the scene and his anger knew no bounds; first he called the Commissioner and urged him to find the culprit as soon as possible but that call had turned a bit sour

Commissioner: Mr Singhania was someone of your family or associate present at the scene of the blast?

Raghav had made up something and had finished his talk for he knew that the Commissioner or anyone for that sake would not understand him. He looked at the image on his projector- on the left side was Kalpi and on the right was Ajabde. He stared at the two images 

I know you have come back for me Kalpi. Like me you cannot survive on your own. I promise you we will soon together.

He smiled as he called the florist: Yes I need a special arrangement of red roses. The best ones you have and keep them ready as I will pick them up myself. They are for a very special person

HOSPITAL

Pratap felt a bit disoriented as he woke up only to find Ajabde holding his hand while she sat by his bedside. He looked at her sleeping face- she had a small bandage on her forehead and a couple on her hands. He remembered the fear that had run through his veins

Ajabde!!!! Please stop. Listen to me

Suddenly Pratap heard shrieks and saw a car heading straight for Ajabde. He ran and pulled her out of danger as the car collided with the jeep and the blast happened.

Ajabde: Pratap oh my god you’re up. Do you need something? Of course you’ll need something you got hurt….am such a fool. Wait I’ll call the doctor

Before she could make a move Pratap pulled her back and winced

Ajabde: You have hurt your hand so don’t move it as it will pain 

Pratap refused to let go of her forcing her to move closer to him. He gently touched her bandages and the scabs on her arms while she smiled at him.

Ajabde: I’m fine but you are not so let me call the doctor

Doctor performed a full check-up and prescribed some pain killers and full rest for the injuries to heal. Uday Singh had convinced the doctor to discharge Pratap so that they could care for him at home. In an hour they were making their way towards the basement as it was the only way to move out without having the media jump on them for bytes. 

Pratap and Ajabde sat in the back while Rawatji was in the front and Uday Singh had driven off in another car. Rawatji was on a call while Ajabde had fallen asleep in the car and Pratap was staring at the numerous messages he had received from his friends

Rawatji: Pratap we have to be prepared

Pratap: For what?

Rawatji: Inspector Rann Singh wishes to speak to you and Ajabde about the incident. Your father tried his very best to delay it but your presence at the blast site made it a little tough

Ajabde had woken up: But we were not there intentionally Rawatji. We went because of the boy who was murdered and instead of looking for the killer and person responsible for the blast they wish to interrogate us

Rawatji: I know beta but the best we can do is to speak to them.

Raghav was pissed off as he showered hits on the punching bag. Every time he closed his eyes he would recall the scene he had witnessed at the hospital

Raghav rushed to the hospital to meet with Ajabde after he learned about the blast at the police station. The Commissioner had given him the location for her and he had not wasted any time in coming to meet her. Standing in front of the room she was supposed to be resting, he ran a hand through his hair and opened the door only to find it empty. He frowned and asked a nurse who gave him a different room number but as the nurse went smiling he looked confused but all confusion went out the window when he saw her ……with him

Ajabde was smiling at whatever Pratap was telling and then he pulled her to him. Raghav’s fist tightened as he saw their closeness and the next thing made him want to beat the guy up – Pratap had kissed her cheek making her blush. Both of them looked way too cosy and close for his (Raghav’s) liking

Every time he closed his eyes all he could see was Ajabde in Pratap’s arms smiling but then Kalpi’s face would roam in front of his eyes. He turned to see himself in the mirror and then in one go he punched the mirror hard breaking it into pieces and bloodied his hand. He took a deep breath he needed to work something out for he would not let her go away from him. She belonged with him only and no one would ever come between them again.
